Transmission swap

So the Slingshot that I'm maybe considering getting has the automatic transmission. Is it possible to replace it with a manual like the one from Polaris from the same year as this?

Ok basically @Hedginger87 it can be done, but it is not a straight swap since wiring and ECU tuning would need to be addressed. If you really want a manual, you might be better off holding out for one that already comes that way.

I agree with @rick&morty in that it's technically doable, but it is not really as simple as a plug and play and you have to be really sure with what you are doing. Otherwise, it might cost you more. That's the thing about mods. If you DIY and not go to the actual dealer, you would not have someone to blame if something wrong happens. Well apart from you, that is.
