Installing the system on my 2017 SLR

Has nyone here installed the Rev Dynamics 3P Air ride system themselves? I've got a 2017 SLR and would love to know how tough it was, how long it took, and if much drilling was needed. I heard it's an all-day job, sound about right? I can't wait to start
 
Thats one of mods I missed on my old setup, but I plan on doing it on the new one. Ive heard its pretty involved, definitely not jsut an all day job with some drilling required. Buddy of mine says its doable with basic tools if you're handy, but be ready to spend the day and take your time. If you try it, a detailed write-up with pics would be great..

Installing the Rev Dynamics 3P kit on a 2017 SLR looks like a rewarding project, but you're correct that it's not a simple task unless you're comfortable turning a wrench!! I'd say a full day could be a realistic estimate, especially if you're taking your time and want to get the wiring and plumbing perfect. I'd definitely recommend getting a buddy to help out, especially with the compressor and tank. There should be a few good YouTube videos out there that can help!!

I did the same on my 2017 SLR a while a back. @SlingerDeezer is right that it's not a quick bolt-on project. I probably spent almost 10 hours on it, including getting all the panels off and back on again.

You'd need to drill some holes for the compressor mount and the air tank, and also to run some of the lines and wires neatly. I spent a lot of time on wire management to make sure it looked clean and wouldn't get pinched. The hardest part for me was just figuring out the best placement for the components to make everything fit without rubbing. The instructions are decent, but a little common sense and careful planning go a long way. The ride is incredible once it's all done though, so totally worth the effort! Good luck with the install, man!
 
Quick update for everyone: I actually picked up my Rev Dynamics 3P Air Ride kit through an online performance parts retailer, it took a bit of hunting, but ordering direct made sure I got the full kit complete. Thanks
