I'm on the hunt for a new set of wheels and tires for my 2021 Slingshot S, but i've learned the hard way that going too big throws the speedometer out of whack. Hoping someone here can point me in the right direction before I end up cruising blind on the numbers.

Yeah, definitely stick close to stock diameter but you could go a bit wider for grip. Just know that if the overall circumference changes too much, the speedo will be off.

Bigger wheels on a Slingshot might look flashy, but messing with sizing just to flex wrecks handling and accuracy. If you care more about stance than safety, you're proving looks matter more than control.

try a simple rule of thumb is to keep your tire's aspect ratio in mind. If you go up in wheel size, you need to go down in the aspect ratio (the second number in the tire size) to keep the overall diameter the same.
For example, if you go to a 19" wheel in the front, you'd want to go with a 225/40-19 tire instead of a 225/45-18. There are a lot of online tire calculators that will do the math for you
